For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Grace Happens.

Last night was a good night. I had some awesome fellowship with friends who I care about dearly, we shared laughs, and stories and learned a lot about each other. I took the chance and told them my life story. My story of turmoil, divorce, suicide, self mutilation, crazy things with my family, and ultimately how I came to Christ. Taylor and Shayleigh really made me realize, I had something to say. I've been though a lot yet, God picked me up and made me who I am today. The girls didn't judge me, the just loved me. These are two girls I've only been close friends with for a few months, yet they are the best, and most supporting friends I have had in 18 years.

Grace happens. That is the pure beauty of our God. He is so amazing, and He forgives those who do not deserve it one single bit. I know there is NO WAY I should be going to heaven, but I have chosen the wonderful, yet challenging path of being a Christian, and confessed that Jesus Christ is king, and I believe He has granted me eternal life. How awesome is that? Because of Him dying on the cross, for ME  and my SIN, when I wasn't even close to being thought of, just blows me away. It is truly a fantastic feeling.

Because of these awesome things called grace and eternal life, plus all the things I have been through in life, this blog is going to be used to share about Christ and how I incorporate Him in all aspects of my life, whether it is in school, teaching, baby sitting, dealing with friends & family, FFA, or even healing from my past. I want to be able to share how God can be apparent in all aspects of life and how His love is always there! :)
